Logical match for my new B9---there is a difference ---a little more snap and edge for use in our quartet. With my synthetic reeds it is for me the best set up ever. Top end could be touch brighter but no real complaints as the bottom end is amazing.

Die M/O Blattschraube für das Vandoren V16 Mundstück für Baritonsaxophon ist deutlich leichter als die ebenso passende Optimum Blattschraube gebaut. Im Vergleich spielt sie sich freier als die Optimum. Man spürt einfach weniger Blattschraube. Die Optimum nimmt mehr Einfluss auf das Spiel und bringt evtl. etwas mehr Stabilität. Durch die verschiedenen Andruckplatten der Optimum kann man das Spielgefühl auch noch variieren - am Besten beide Blattschrauben ausprobieren! Beide lassen sich schnell und gut mit nur einer Schraube fixieren. Ich habe mich für die M/O Blattschraube entschieden und spiele sie auf einem V16 B7 Mundstück mit Vandoren ZZ 2,5er oder 3er Blättern.
Als alternative Ligature für dieses Mundstück gibt es auch noch die Vandoren Lederblattschraube (ebenfalls mit verschiedenen Andruckplatten) oder ggf. auch andere Lederblattschrauben, die ich allerdings nicht ausprobiert habe, da ich die Kombination mit der M/O prima finde.

Avec la M/O, c'est différent ! Le fait d'avoir l'empreinte de l'anche permet à celle-ci d'être maintenue sans trop de pression. Moi qui aime les anches libres et tenues proches du talon (j'aime avoir une anche vibrante sur toute sa longueur), je suis servi.
Ajoutons à cela la qualité de fabrication made in Vandoren, j'ai la ligature pour un paquet d'années.
Je précise que cette ligature a été créée pour les becs Vandoren V16 pour saxophone baryton.
Si vous ne voulez pas vous ruiner, c'est le bon choix !
