Works good

Used with Legere reeds. The reed is tighten very well in the mouthpiece and the sound can be modified by changing the setups in the ligature.

Been playing with this ligature for 2 years, it's comfortable, easy to use, and perfectly hides the unwanted sounds from the reed! It doesn't stretch out as fast as other leather ligatures and will serve you for long time.

Fantastic ligature

I used one of the Rovner plain leather ligatures before buying this and I'm really pleased with the difference in the clarity of tone and articulation. It gives you the kind of clear attack that a good metal ligature does but with a much warmer sound.

Ligature opens and fills the sound a lot, but be aware that it requires more air. I use the Vandoren V12 3.5 which are generally stiffer, but with the Vandoren Optimum Ligature, Rovner requires more pressure.
