I used the D-Tuna for years and that is a genius device, but sadly can't be installed on recessed tremolo without definitive modifications. This Tone Vise little unit works around the problem brilliantly and, to my surprise, doesn't even require any further adjustment once installed!
Just be aware that a trem stopper is needed on recessed trems - highly recommend the FZG one.

Great alternative to the EVH d-tuna

I got this for my Charvel which has a recessed Floyd rose. The pitch shifter is perfect as it saved me cutting into the guitar body for a d-tuna. It was simple enough to install though the video by Tone Vise wasn’t much help.

Ich wollte dieses Teil auf einer Gitarre mit Licensed by Floyd Rose Tremolo-System montieren. Die mitgelieferte Schraube ist allerdings um ca. 2-3mm zu kurz. D.h. es ist so unmöglich die E-Saite mit Klemmböckchen zu fixieren. Pitch Shifter funktioniert also nicht. Nachfrage bei Thomann ergab Verweis auf Originalersatzschrauben von Floyd die 2 mm länger sind. Gute Idee, aber ein Satz dieser Schrauben kostet 35,-€. Suche jetzt bei einem Schraubenhändler nach Ersatz. Die Schraube ist metrisch M4.
Nachtrag: Keine passende Schraub im Handel gefunden. Eine Firma hat mir dann eine Standard M4 auf eine Länge von 45,5 - 46mm abgesägt, die passende Spitze gedreht und das Gewinde komplett geschnitten.
Jetzt funktionierts!!!!!
Zur Verarbeitung: Der eigentliche Shifter sitzt relativ wackelig auf der Schraube. Wie das System im Einsatz funktioniert kann ich noch nicht sagen, s.o.
Nicht vergessen darf man bei der Anschaffung auch gleichzeitig einen Blockiermechanismus für´s Floyd zu beschaffen. Der kostet auch 89,-€ funktioniert aber gut - nur definitiv zu teuer. Das bisher installierte
Allparts Tremol-No Small Clamp habe ich für das neue Guitar-Guard Hardtailer Trem Block System wieder rausgeschmissen. Das Neue ist kleiner, einfacher und schneller zu bedienen - also besser.

Esta es una compra no del todo completa, me explico, es necesario tener un bloqueador o un tremmory para el muelle de el floyd rose si quieres que cuando se active el Pitch Shifter, no se desequilibre la tension del puente en las cuerdas y la afinacion se te vaya.
Pero fuera de eso, se siente casi magico y super cool bajar la afinacion de una forma tan rapida y sencilla para rockear en drop D o C, lo recomiendo totalmente, eso si, necesitas o bloquear el tremolo, o tener un tremmory (Este ultimo es mas caro, pero te seguira dejando usar la palanca con total libertad, cosa que no pasa bloqueando el tremolo)
