Improves sustain and resonance especially in the midrange of a Floyd Rose bridge
Warmer and clearer sound

Note: due to slightly larger dimensions compared to conventional sustain blocks, additional milling for a free-floating setting may be necessary under certain circumstances.

Ihan hyvä tuote mutta ruuvien reijät väärää kokoa.
Nice product, but screw holes are too wide. Didn't find any information about hole sizes. I start to feel quite angry with Thomann.

Tone improvement

I always like to think about things I can do to improve or just change the Tone of my guitars and when I got my first Floyd Rose Guitar I knew I had to try changing the Sustain Block.
So I watched a couple of Videos about the topic, deemed it worth a try and bought the Block.
As always super fast and easy ordering and delivering by Thomann.
When the Block arrived putting it in the Floyd wasn’t any difficult, if you can change Strings and do basic setups on a Floyd you can do that too!
With the first strumming it was immediately apparent that the guitar was louder acousticly and the vibration in the body was more distinct. Plugged in the Sustain definitely increased but much more obvious was the bigger Note definition and a much more apparent Mid Bump. In my opinion it was definitely an improvement and was worth every penny. For sure an upgrade I will put in every Floyd Rose in the future.

Purchased two of these for Floyd Rose 1000-equipped guitars. They are a good fit and do seem to fatten the unplugged sound of the guitars.
