A relyable tool with an alarming name..

The SS-Snake Cable surprised me in every aspect despite its cheapish look. Although it looks a bit like something from China, you would stumble upon while rummaging around in a kids ?Happy Meal? packet. Well, never judge a book by its cover. The Snake is a beast, when it comes to technical reliabillity, it goes on and on and on without even showing any glimpse of giving up, even if you start twisting it. This would be fatal to a real reptile, but the SS ? Snake keeps injecting its with its poisonous midi informations into my jolly recording systems. Always a pleasure to have this fella round when recording my everyday inspirations.

Great for plug + forget applications

I use quite a few of these to run MIDI around semi-permanent looms in the studio, never had a problem with them. The colour makes them easily identifiable among all the other cable runs and the cable is not too prone to kinking so easy to manage. The moulded connectors are fine, although if I was pulling them in and out every night I'd probably go for something maintainable.
