A friend bought this thing through my account. He was having problems with it where the driver doesn't show up and when he playes through a VST amp with this thing, the audio cuts out for multiple seconds quite often. Switching amps didn't work, no amount of fiddling with the settings like buffer solved the issue either.
I took the interface home to try it at my own computer because of course with my own equipment everything works fine. Same story. I installed the driver but it doesn't show up in the system tray as claimed that it would, and it doesn't show up in the list of available drivers on my VST amp. My amp doesn't receive any signal from it at all. To top it all off actually finding where to even download the driver was hard, and the manual leaves a lot to be desired. After reading through the manual, I still have no clue what the "stereo-mono" button does.
This product is as good as a brick for recording as it simply does not work. At least the outputs work.
The worst of all, Thomann is refusing to refund the product because the 30-day period has passed during all this. Which is ridiculous of course, because there is a 3-year warranty, and the product simply not functioning for it's advertised purpose (being an audio interface) should obviously warrant a refund or replacement for another product under any warranty.
