Highly effective wind shield for pressure gradient and pressure receivers with low sound effects. The foam hollow sphere encloses an air volume around the capsule, similar to a wind protection basket. Particularly when using CCM-L, care must be taken that the W 5 D is inserted as far as possible (not suitable for active cables, MK 6, MK 4 V, MK 4 VXS, MK 41 V, MK 8, as well as the corresponding CCM)

It fits perfectly for use with the Schoeps MSTC 74 ORTF microphone. You will need two of these in that case. It sits snugly, and if you plan to record outdoors, this is a mandatory addition! Good build quality, easy to install.
