Because it's angled sideways and not upwards it's completely useless since it wont fit most MIDI connectors. If you only connect one cable and there are no other connections about 2.5cm from it, it might work but otherwise not. It's sad too such an important design flaw make a product completely useless!

What can you say about cheap midi cables? I'm not sure about the quality yet. These were ultra cheap and I have nothing bad to say about them as they work just fine. I have 5 machines in serie, and no loss of signal happened. So cheers!

Cable ends are pointing different directions. Meaning that you can plug these side by side, close to each other. By turning the cable you can choose which direction the cable will point.

Could not find these angled midi cables from local music stores, so thank you Thomann! These made quite much room to my table.

These should be an easy 5 stars the cable feels good, the fit the socket snugly and look great.... except they aren't horizontal. And the are off quite a bit. By this I mean when they are plugged in and you look at them from behind they be horizontal to ground, or the equipment, But the stick up a bit. Both ends the plus are opposite. so when plugged in one points right and the other left. (Except it's right and up a bit and left a up a bit). They are not even off by the same amount, making it look more messy when In and Thru are both connected. You can actually see this in the picture on the site of the back of the board, it goes up a little. Mine go up a little more. Shame as these would make a tidy solution for the new analogues with midi on top.
