Length: 64.0 mm
Suitable for Buffet RC series (Boehm system)
The upper part is made of plastic
The lower part is made of grenadilla wood
Improvements compared to the conventional clarinet barrel: the Zoom barrel has a continuous bore in every length setting and is not interrupted in the outer part either
An adjustment ring (with scale) makes tuning settings precisely visible and adjustable
Turning the adjusting ring allows the barrel to move apart without changing the axial direction
The sound characteristics are improved by the barrel
Made in Germany with the latest CNC technology

This barrel goes perfectly with my BC Tosca and fixes the intonation problems that I had with the original barrels. It's easy and fast to adjust the length - you don't even have to stop playing if one hand is free:) Although If I were to buy it again I would choose the 63mm one because I rarely use it scrolled more than to a level 3, but sometimes I need it to be even shorter when the clarinet is cold! For me, it also changes the sound a bit making it warm and beautiful!

It gets stuck!

This is a great idea, but unfortunately mine has become totally inoperable because the soft aluminium adjuster has become cross threaded and the barrel will no longer adjust.
