It is a replacement for my clarineo cleaning swab. After contact with Thomann about the broken swab, I received another one within 1 week. Good communication and fast response.

I got the yellow one

Yes, my swab did not look like the photo, and I got the yellow one but it is ok by me as it still does the job and is a great item to have around

Almost is blocked by its volume, inside the clarinet's tube, but does not. Therefore I suppose it rubs everywhere it can, and absorbs all the water it can. Does the job :)

There is a "protection" rating, that I don't understand. I suppose it is about not hurting the clarinet while cleaning it, but if a swab did that, it would be a very, very naughty swab indeed !

Great swab for the price

I use this swab to clean the mouthpiece and crook of my alto sax and it does a great job for a very reasonable price.
