I bought this out of curiosity. I wasn't expecting it to be playable out of the box. And it wasn't. And to be frank, I thought it might be all junk. But...
My piece of this super cheap deal was unfortunately delivered with almost completely unfinished frets. I don't know how that can pass the quality inspection and it's certainly not acceptable. I could have sent it back, but I didn't want to waste time to get another piece maybe with different problems, so I ended up sanding and polishing all the frets since I've done this before many times on different guitars.
After that I was completely blown away how well this thing plays for the price. Neck feels very good and it was pretty well adjusted out of the box. The finishing was suprisingly good, even though mine had couple of small scratches and other small faults but overall for the price it was better than I expected. I thought that the pickups are going to be junk, but they actually sound quite good. Keep in mind that this is a very cheap guitar. In the end, I've heard several times more expensive epiphones sounding worse than this.
PROS:
+ Easy to play and pretty well adjusted
+Well built neck and body feels sturdy
+Price
+Looks amazing
+ Hardware is better than I expected
CONS:
-Be prepared that there might be major quality issues, since this is probably made in China with a shoe lace budget. You never know what you're going to get.
-Pots are pretty much junk and there are shielding issues.
-Tuning pegs are relatively heavy to use
OVERALL:
For the price it's totally worth the money. Just fingers crossed and hope you get a good one.
