Harley Benton California TrueTone

This is my third pedal of this True Tone series. Where the American pedal emulates Fender amps, AC Tone brings in the jingly VOX tones, this California pedal re-creates the fat tones of Mesa Boogie amps. In my use, the American pedal shines at clean tones, AC works wonderfully with light-to-medium gain, this California one really shines at high gain sounds.

The distortion it creates is really full and pleasingly warm. There's quite a bit of versatility to the sounds as well and you can stack it with other dirt pedals for some truly epic walls of sound. As with the other pedals of the series, I use it hooked directly to PA with no amp and it sounds fantastic. Perfect for home recording.
