I bought this subwoofer for my employer, who wanted to create a 4.1-soundsystem for an art exhibition. At the time, I wasn't familiar with this brand, but I decided to give it a shot. All the stats seemed very nice and adequate for our purpose.
All the features on this sub are exactly what you would expect and need in order to create a decent sound system. Volume, adjustable crossover, stereo XLR in, stereo high pass XLR out... yep, you can find all that on this subwoofer, costing 169 euros. And I can guarantee you, Fun Generation hasn't done any compromises in power. It can get quite loud. Maybe not outdoor concert-loud, but it's definitely good enough for most events up to 100-150 persons. It's not impossibly heavy, but it's a lot easier to move around this sub if you get a friend to assist you. And oh, the space in your estate car might be filled quite quickly if you decide to move around this sub!
If I'd create a FOH-system based on this sub, I'd make sure to get some tops made by a bigger brand. My experience with Fun Generation tops hasn't been too flattering, but they sure know how to make a decent budget subwoofer. Would I buy it again? If I knew I wouldn't need to transport it by car, probably yes.
