Great things come in small packages... sometimes.

This is a great guitar but for some reason I just couldn't love it. The switching all works well but is unusual and I wasn't a fan.

The design and colour of the guitar are great but I just wasn't in love with it, the neck was nice to play, I love slim taper necks and this one felt great in this SG player's hand.

Overall I liked this guitar but didn't love it, I'm sure others will though.

Unusual but very playable

The neck on this guitar feels great, its very playable, wide and quite chunky. A small body really helps on a small stage or with weight. Maybe in line for a pup upgrade at some point, but I like it. The 5 way switch has a non standard setup i.e. bridge position is actually split coil, and next position (4?) is full humbucker.
I don't think it's the best looking guitar, but it plays well and is staying with me :)

Ticks most of my boxes

This is a newer version of the Epi Nighthawk dating from the 90's? First off you get a nice case with the guitar, a plus in my opinion. Pickup selector is a 5 blade switch. that taps the humbuckers, so a variety of sounds are there for you. I like the ebony fretboard very smooth to play. Lighter than a les paul style with stomach cut makes for a less tiring playing session. Detractions? Although the bridge pickup is angled and the strings go through the body you will not get a true tele bridge sound, but its close. Is this an attempt to produce a guitar to get both Les Paul and Tele sounds? Not really; its best thought of for what it is, a Fanatic version of the nighthawk, it succeeds in this. A quality guitar that gives sounds for many styles of music, it wont be around in stock for long.

Légère et fonctionnelle: très polyvalente

en ma possession depuis quelques jours: je suis sous le charme. Guitare légère mais bien équilibrée, manche sufffisamment épais et confortable. Bonne tenue d'accordage en 10 46 d'origine. switch 5 positions avec toutes les positions exploitables pour différents styles de jeux. Pour ma part blues et rock voire un peu hard rock; les micros sont de qualité et ne nécessitent pas un changement. Frettes bie nposées et finies: n'arrachent pas les doigts de la man lors de glissés. Ouf ! a lire et voir les différents avis sur youtube et google qui encensent l'excellent rapport qualité prix de cet instrument réalisé très correctement en Chine. A true player, a true keeper.
