Elixir strings are known for their longevity. They feel and even sound differently. Which is to me a good thing because if I would want that special sound or even a classical tone then I would buy from other famous brands.
The .026 feels like elixir, sounds like elixir and lasts like elixir. Would recommend.

Früher war ich was die beschichteten Saiten anging sehr skeptisch, heute habe ich sowohl für die Akustik als auch Elektrik nur diese Saiten. Auf meiner Hauptgitarre sind nun schon ein Jahr diese Saiten drauf und spielen sich wie neu. Vergleichbare von früher wie Ernie Ball oder Duesenberg hielten mit viel Pflege vielleicht 2 Monate. Ich bin auch sogar der Meinung, dass sich Elixier Saiten deutlich weniger beim Spielen verstimmen. Also ich kann nur sagen top!

Je joue sur différents types de cordes depuis une vingtaine d'année et les Elixir offrent le meilleur rapport sonorité / longévité. / confort. De plus il est extrêmement difficile de se les procurer au détail dans une boutique traditionnelle pour compléter un jeu entamé par un remplacement occasionnel. Merci Thomann !
