Don't let the peculiar isolator EQ style on this unit fool you - once you get the used to how it works you might find yourself loving it!
For me, this dj mixer ticks all the right boxes.
The mic pre is loud, and distorts in a pleasing way when overloaded, unlike some other mixers I know. I only wish the mic channel could also be sent to the fx loop, this being perhaps the biggest flaw of the mixer.
The FX send can be configured pre or post fader for both channels separately, and if you're not using three channels, you can reroute the fx loop back to channel three for additional post EQ for the fx loop.
The crossfader and the linefaders have quite a lot of controls for tweaking the response. However, I strongly recommend the eternal fader upgrade for anyone looking to scratch with this one, the stock fader is not that good.
A pity ecler has stopped manufacturing dj mixers. The nuo 2.0 is an excellent piece of gear, with just the right amount of portability, sound quality and features.
Ps. aftermarket faders and knobs, such as chroma caps, fit well to this mixer.
