Needed a replacement

Had to buy a new preamp for my 4099 as last one just gave out during sound check couple weeks ago. These need to be replaced a bit too often for how much they cost, but the 4099 is such a great mic that it's easilly worth it.

DPA quality

This is essential for connecting DPA headset mics. The build quality is impeccable as is everything with DPA. The belt clip comes unattached and there is no instruction to attach it (unscrew the black plastic cap and let the placeholder ring fall out then slide it in). Because the belt clip has tension it is a bit tricky to reattach the cap. I worried I might damage the exposed electronics. Once assembled it works like a charm. Tip: when screwing on the adaptor, turn the adaptor, not the cable.

Pricey but for more durable than others

I tried to work around paying the high price of these by buying imitations but they naturally failed. These are expensive but very durable.
