Line6 DL4 MKII Blackout Delay

Da ich schon länger drüber Nachgedacht habe mir das DL4 zu kaufen, habe ich direkt zur Neuauflage gegriffen. In diesem Fall war es die Limited Edition, diese ist schwarz anstelle des für das Pedal bekannte Grüns.
Das Pedal macht einen guten Eindruck und bringt viele Interessante Sounds mit sich.
Von normalen analogen Delays wie z.B. dem Spund des Boss DM2 oder experimentelle Glitch Sounds sowie Harmonics bietet das Pedal ebenfalls eine menge versteckte Reverb Effekte.
In der Verpackung liegt ein Spickzettel, um die Sounds schnell einzustellen,
aber es lohnt sich definitiv auf der Line6 Website nach der Bedienungsanleitung zu suchen. Habe diese einmal gelesen und erstmal gestaunt was alles in dem Pedal steckt.
Von 2 verschiedenen Looper Versionen zu über 128 speicherbare Presets, allerdings sind nur sechs davon ohne Midi nutzbar.
Habe es bislang im Mono betrieb genutzt, zum Stereo betrieb kann ich leider noch nichts sagen. Habe ebenfalls ein altes FM4 welches deutlich größer ausfällt.

Das Update Programm auf Line6 zu finden, dass fand ich etwas nervig. Habe zwei alte Versionen runtergeladen, welche nicht mehr funktionierten, bis ich die aktuelle Line6 Software gefunden habe.
Aber dann war alles verständlich erklärt und das Pedal auf die aktuellen Firmware Version gebracht.

Ich kann das Pedal definitiv empfehlen, wenn man eine große Spannweite an Delays haben möchte.

So the awaited mk2 has arrived but there are positive and negative changes.
This one is black ,the small print on the selector dial is almost unreadable ( particularly the outer /new second set of echos) and the other gripe is the footswitch lighting of green for on and dimmed green for off is totaly senseless as the difference is minimal ,
lazy design tech issue here, this problem makes it really difficult to use in a live situation with busy stage lights or outdoor shows if its sunny.
this problem could be easily solved by a switch color change and maybe a simple control for adjusting the brightness of the switch lighting .
I see this pedal as being more of a studio tool where you can get some spot on vintage or modern delay sound to your specs .
its nice that it is abit smaller making it more pedal board freindly.
but how many different delay /echo sounds do you need during a live set ?
probably smaller cheaper options (which may help you find your signature tone by limiting your options)
