Excellent for live stand use
I also own a pair of flat arms so that I'm able to decide on the spur of the moment whether the synth on the top tier is flat or slanted towards me. These slot-in without issue and are rock-solid.

Well built shelf
Robust and well built addition to my Spider Pro stand. Does not fit with the Old Spider stand. Well machined and looks good. From other Spider stands i expect this to be as durable.

Great upgrade
Purchased one to add a third tier to my Spider Pro.
It's an excellent addition to the stand - and is exactly the same as the lower flat tier.
Upgrading was a little fiddly - the screws in the stand are self taping (which is a little disappointing)
I'm very happy with it.
