Kasleder Vintage King Fuzz/OD

Da ich schon lange Zeit auf der Suche nach einem passendem Boost Pedal für mein Ryra Klon Overdrive Pedal war, entschied ich mich nach kurzer Youtube Nachforschung das Pedal zu Bestellen.

Hier sei kurz mal wieder der Wahnsinnig Geniale Service des Gesamten Thomann Teams erwähnt. Innerhalb 2 Tage war das Paket dann auch schon da.

Erster Eindruck:
Sehr edles Pedal und sehr sehr sauber Verarbeitet. Aber das Wichtigste ist ja der Sound und somit ging es gleich Zum Ersten Test.
Dazu gleich mal meinen Orange Rocker 30 amp mit Ryra Klon und Vintage King zusammen gestöpselt, und meine Fender Jazzmaster mit p90 Pick Up‘s eingesteckt.

Da gieng dann gleich mal die Sonne Auf und innerhalb von 2 Minuten war klar dass meine Suche nach einem Harmonischen Overdrive/Fuzz Boost für mein Setup Beendet war.

Gain Auf ca. 13 - 14 Uhr und dann mit dem Beard Regler zwischen Dist. Oder Fuzz regeln.
Der Beard Regler ist aus meiner Sicht auch das Herzstück des Pedals, bei Stellung 8-9 Uhr eher ein Overdrive, Ab 10 Uhr Distortion und ab 13 Uhr gehts langsam Richtung Fuzz.
Wobei es kein richtiges Zermatschendes Fuzz wird, sondern auch voll Aufgerissen noch die Dynamic hält, und auf weichere Anschläge reagiert. Auch über das Volumen Poti an der Gitarre lässt sich das Teil gut Steuern.

Auch mit meinen Humbucker bestückten SG‘s und meiner alten Gretsch Harmoniert der Vintage King Wunderbar!

Ich werde meinen Vintage King nichtmehr Hergeben da ich kein Vergleichbares Pedal jemals besessen oder gesehen habe.

The vintage king is essentially a fuzz face. It has a volume and a fuzz control.........but in the middle is a beard knob and that is what makes this pedal fantastic. As I understand it, it controls the value of the input capacitor and it works fantastic together with the fuzz knob.
If you have the baerd knob from zero to about 9 o'clock and the fuzz over noon you get a kind of a treblebooster sound. With the beard from 9 o'clock til noon and the fuzz at noon you get a great sizzling overdrive. With my SG in bridge and middle position I could get various great Billy Gibbons tones.
Beard from 1 o'clock til 3 quarters up it's really distortion edging towards fuzz. And fully up is full on fuzz face sound and I could really nail various Jimi Hendrix sounds with my strat.
The things is that no matter what I tried every setting sounded REALLY good and on my first go I ended up playing for 3 hours just trying different guitars and amps and settings. It's hands down the best pedal I've had for years.... And it will definitely not be my last Kasleder pedal.....
