This is awfully expensive for what it is but I just didn't want to take chances on heartbreak with a poor quality alternative so I plumped for this. It definitely delivers, and only a 180 swing with a mallet will send the tambourine flying. I could not give a full 5 star overall rating because of the price but also would have liked a non-threading method of securing it to a hi-hat stem.

Superb function, design, quality and build
Recommended, fixes securely my Ron Vaughn tambourine to a Pearl Gyro loch clamp for use with Pro Mark Lightening rods. Very happy A++++

Clamp the tambourine in hard to play it or leave it loose so you can play it or grab it out to play normally. Excellent design and built.
