UN BUEN FINGER (PUA)

Para mi dedo pulgar me va de cine el numero 8, de todas formas tengo el 7 también. Consistente, no hace daño al dedo y funciona muy bien. Los compré de alpaca y de bronze, me gusta más los de alpaca, me siento mucho más cómodo. El bronze de todas formas con el tiempo se oscurece, pero son muy muy buenos finger. Lo recomiendo 100%

El numero 8 aunque más fino , pronuncia muchísimo más el sonido metalico del banjo. sigo usando el num. 8

5 star thumb picks - Geipel Thumb Pick

Geipel thumb pick quickly became my favorite. I have tried a lot of thump picks and only a handful fits nicely (snug, but not blue finger tight) and produces excellent sound. I use it with a 5-string bluegrass banjo and occasionally with an acoustic guitar. If you need to tighten or loosen them a bit, you can easily do so as they are pretty flexible. I've been using mine for a little bit over a mont now (2-3h a day) and it still looks pretty new. Already ordered some more of these.

Not just for Zithers

So glad I found these thumb picks. I must have tried almost all that are on the market but just can't get used to them until I tried these which I undersatand were actually designed to be used on a Zither. I usually give up with thumb picks quite quickly but something about these felt more intuitive and before long I felt improvement. The beauty of them is that it's so easy to adapt them to your own preferences. The main issue I usually have is the length of the tine or whatever it is called, the actual picking bit. but with these it's very easy to alter them. I bought 2 silver and 2 bronze. The difference in tone between the 2 is quite substantial to my ear and I especially love the bronze rich tone with the silver ones being a bit more lighter in tone to my ear.

Thumbpick for banjo or lap steel

Comfortable shape. Took me a little while to get used to as it is quite long and thin but it is perfect for banjo playing. I also use it with my lap steel. I don't think it is as well suited to this but I would prefer to use the same pick on both instruments.
