Great guitar but...

PROs
Great sound, good looks, stable tuning, great frets and neck/fretboard, easy access to high notes, lightweight, balances well, good quality pots with treble bleed circuit, great playability*.

CONs
No shielding paint, no split-coil functionality, nut only 41.3.mm wide (standard is 42-43mm) so that playing chords around the first few frets is difficult, tremolo arm wobbles around, the washer/nut on the output jack had fallen off and was found in the packaging, not set-up with high action and tremolo adjusted in such a way that it was pulled all the way back touching the guitar body and *the neck is not very wide so that the E1 string often slips off of the fretboard.

SOUND
The reason I bought the guitar was because I wanted to re-create a particular guitar sound I had in the 1980s. To my astonishment, I can indeed re-create that sound fairly accurately - but better. This is due to the basswood body, pickups and hardware. A limitation is the lack of split-coil functionality. I was going to modify this guitar by installing a push-pull pot. Unfortunately, these pickups cannot be split as they only have one hot wire.

very good guitar but with some flaws

very good guitar but with some flaws...
CONS:
my guitar arived with 2 screws stripped in the jack plate but i fix it.. the pickups are very nice from heavy metal to jazz but in high gain the hum is noticeable, maybe it need better grounding. last but not least the high e string is close to the fret end so sometimes in fast playing or tapping the string may slip

PROS:
very beautyfull guitar with perfect neck ! the frets are very nice and leveled perfectly no sharp fret end and very smooth fretboard edges.. the pots work very good and the guitar holds tuning nicely..the setup was ok, it just needed neck adjustment

Bis auf das Floyd Rose gibt es nichts auszusetzen!
Absolut gute Bespielbarkeit und hervorragender Sound.
Z.Zt. meine Lieblingsgitarre, die sich bisher gut gegen meine Fender Strat USA, Tele USA, Gibson Les Paul USA und Ibanez Steve Vai, durchsetzen konnte. Das Floyd Rose lässt sich gut bedienen und ist sehr leichtgängig, so wie ich es haben wollte.
Aber.... trotz Floyd Rose muss ich die Gitarre ständig in der Feinstimmung alle paar Stunden nachstellen. Die Stimmung sackt ständig ab, was ja eigentlich bei einem FR nicht vorkommen sollte, da die Saiten fest arretiert sind. Absolut alles fest angezogen und dennoch passiert es. Habe das gesamte FR schon demontiert, andere Saiten aufgezogen und und und.... nichts hilft. Bei meiner Ibanez Steve Vai hält die Stimmung mit FR ewig. Keine Idee mehr, woran es liegen könnte.
Dennoch ist die Gitarre der absolute Hamnmer und ich würd sie nicht mehr hergeben wollen. Für mich klare Kaufempfehlung!!
