Evans 08" Hydraulic Blue Tom

I?ve used hydraulic heads in the past and was never overly pleased with them, but I?d said I?d give them another go. Picked up three of these for my roto toms. Now every drummer I know said it would be crazy to use hydraulic heads with roto toms, but to my relief they ended up sounding amazing!
If you?re looking to get sime fat sounding, funky roto toms, then I suggest you slap a fee of these on. I would highly recommend it!

Das Fell/die Hydraulic Blue Felle sind für viele Einsatzbereiche nutzbar. Ich mag sie am meisten für den Rockbereich und als Allround-Heads. Für Country Songs oder gar Jazz bevorzuge ich eher Coated Heads. Ich komme weitgehend ohne weitere Dämpfung aus, je nach Stilrichtung, und Fellstimmung, ggf. mit einem Gel-Pad für die größeren Felle. Ich spiele sie auf einem (8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 22") Tama StarClassic.
Auf meinem Sonor 2000 (incl. 20" BD) ebenfalls, auf den 3000ern coated Heads (22" BD, uncoated).
Aber grundsätzlich gilt: Wenn man Felle nicht gut stimmen kann, holt man selbst aus den Besten nur Müll heraus. Thomann bietet auch hier Hilfestellung und auf YouTube findet man ebenfalls gute Tipps.
Positiv: Guter, runder und etwas weicherer Sound, universell nutzbar
Negativ: Ich hatte bei einem Fell kleine Mängel bzgl. der Verarbeitung am Ring (bei anderen Größen nicht. Evtl. Einzelfall)
