Didn't expect anything less from EB!
The difference between these and roundwounds is minuscule to my ears!
They are extremely smooth to the touch and as a result you get 0 noise when moving up and down the neck fast! (no excess fingerglide noise)!

Nope..good for depilation maybe
So been playing over 20 years now dozens of basses and strings ..new ish to flats. Have tried dad's .labelas.pyramid. And roto..dad's were kind off sweet spot but as everyone Tallinn fairytales about these I said I give it a shot .and no no no ... First off loads of black and yellow ( rust like spots ) according to EB custom service it's the cobalt. Then if you grown in 80 and have old school Casio watch with metal strap which would pull every single hair on your wrists well these are 10 time worst forget about mute with Palm techniques. It's just pure depilation pain. .went to bin after a day of trying.im back to chrome's from dad's ..
