Sounds amazing!
A couple of months ago I bought an ibanez dn300, which came with stock ach pickups. I had heard of people changing ibanez stock pickups, but never understood why because I love the ones in my rg. In the darkstone though, the ach set didn't do it for me.
I read a lot of reviews and for a mahogany body the D activator set sounded like the best choice for me. I play mostly grunge, punk, and some metal, and like a good clean sound as well as powerful distortion.
The wiring instructions were easy to understand and the product feels very durable and well made. After wiring them in (my first time soldering) I loved the sound!
The cleans of the neck are very deep and give great sustain. The distorted does from the neck are powerful, without being overwhelming. There is no hum or background noise, they are really quiet. The d activator bridge is a great match for it.
I would recommend these pickups to anyone, as I belive they are versatile enough for any sound you are trying to achieve.
