Audiocase S10

Having just purchased the s10 it was a risk with it being a new product with very little reviews etc. However, unboxing it and revealing the premium quality of the unit itself I was impressed.
Turning it on and connecting to my phone via Bluetooth was probably the quickest and most easiest I have ever came across and I am a speaker nut.

The sound was instantly powerful and on the warmer side so the bass was felt straight away. I have connected to my laptop and my dj gear and the DSP setup in this unit is very well done as you get that lovely low frequency hum at low volumes which I am a fan of very much. I have a Naim MuSo and that is tuned the same.
In a very large room you can crank it to full (if you dare) and even on bass heavy house music, there was no distortion and the bass does not tale off AT ALL. You can literally feel it. And clarity from the tweeter is there to match the output of the 2 10s.
To say i like this speaker is an understatement. I have tried with Bluetooth and xlr input but have not tried instruments or anything like that but I would imagine there would be no issues with that.

If I could suggest improvements going forward I would like a rubber coated aluminium surround frame for durability so to avoid scuffing the nice finishing.
Some feet on the end so you could place it vertically on a surface would be cool also. I have just purchased some self adhesive feet online for £3.99 so I have fixed that no problems.
One final thing would be a pole mount for a speaker stand just incase the occasion called for it. I have a hk audio move 8 to pair with this and it just would have been nice to pole mount the 2 units.

I don't know why but I can't stop looking at the S5 now because I'm intrigued how good you have made 2 5 inch woofers sound as the 10s are absolutely banging.

Ich besitze nun seit 5 Tagen die Audiocase S10 und konnte sie ausführlich testen. Auch habe ich sie mit der Soundboks 3 verglichen. Anfangs war ich enttäuscht , da der Klang verfälscht und recht flach klang. Dann habe ich hereusgefunden , dass beim Quellgerät die Audioausgabe auf Mono gestellt werden muss. Dann klingt sie deutlich druckvoller und sauberer. Nun zum Vergleich mit der SB3… Diese könnte zwar doch einiges lauter spielen , klingt dann aber nicht mehr gut. Die Audiocase S10 spielt auch auf voller Lautstärke differenziert mit starken , bei hoher Lautstärke nicht abnehmendem Bass. Dieser ist nebenbei etwas kräftiger und tiefer als bei der Soundboks. Man kann sagen, wenn man die Lautstärke synchronisiert , spielt die S10 auf voller Leistung und die SB3 etwa auf 80%, hat dann aber schon deutlich mit der Qualität zu kämpfen. Daher mein Fazit… Dass die Audiocase nicht ganz so laut ist , fällt meiner Meinung nach nicht ins Gewicht , da die Soundboks bei noch gutem Klang nicht wirklich lauter ist (Und ja , es ist sehr laut) Da auch die Bässe mehr drücken , beräue ich den Wechsel nicht , denn die SB3 wird nun verkauft.

Die Eckdaten sind exakt gleich zur Soundboks 3, leider konnte ich im direkten Vergleich nur eine JBL Box 300 hören. Lautstärke - kein Vergleich, Die S10 bewegt deutlich mehr Luft und ist in kleinen Räumen nicht über 50% zu hören weil man sonst wirklich taub wird. Der Klang ist dabei auf jeden Fall Bassbetont aber trotzdem eher HiFi als PA.

Nun zu den negativen Punkten:
- Bei Bluetooth Verbindung gibt es ein deutliches Grundrauschen dass man allerdings nicht mehr hört sobald Musik läuft
- Die Instrumenteneingänge sind sehr durchdacht und auch der Reverb ist gut, AAAber Die E-Gitarre und auch eine Ovation mit Vorverstärker sind selbst auf 100% Lautstärke noch auf Zimmerlautstärke.

Fazit: Super Sound, Sehr schwer und als Amp nur bedingt zu verwenden

Edit: Die Lautstärke der Gitarren Eingänge wurde mit einem Firmware Update verbessert. 10/10 Kundenservice!

We are a private school with 160 students who often needs a speaker in various places. It could be the fitness room or outside the school for big gatherings. And this speaker is just amazing. I love the quality and especially the sound quality is impressive. We use the microphone connection a lot and it just brilliant how easy it is to work for both students and teachers.

This is the third big speaker we have bought along the years and value, price and quality is the by far the best. Fantastic product.
