Marcus Miller V5 24-5 DRD

I own several Sire bases and they are all excellent. So my expectations of this bass were high. However, the first bass I received had awful fretwork. Very sharp frets all across the neck. Thomann were great and sent me another bass, which was better but still had a few sharp fret ends. Rather than send it back again, I sent it to a Luthier and had it properly set up and the fret ends sorted. And I have to say, this bass is incredible. It sounds amazing, it looks awesome. If I hadnt had the initial fret issues, I would be giving this 5 stars..

I didn’t imagine i would ever find this quality with this price!
I didn’t do my full testing yet, but my first impressions are simply wow..
The color even looks better in reality! i can see where the costs were cut in hardware and knobs, but it gets the job done!
Passive tone is nice although I need to do more testing
