Hils HZB4 SSV

The concept sounds great - headless, lightweight, multi-scale bass with tons of sound options. And it is all that, mine weighted 3,3 kg, sounds were quite good, although the preamp was a bit lackluster. But at this price level you'd expect better quality when it comes to setup and playability. I couldn't get the string action to less than 3 mm (the bridge saddle on the E string would not go lower, despite other string saddles being visibly lower). The back of the neck had some black spots as if somebody was touching it with dirty hands. Included gigbag is very nice, but I'd rather like more effort put into QA there.
