Fender Exclusive MIJ 60s Strat RW SFG

Guitare reçue très bien protégée pour le transport (merci Thomann et Fender!)

Pendant longtemps je voulais éviter cette marque (ainsi que Gibson), pensant que leurs guitares étaient surcotées. J'ai préféré des guitares moyennes gammes chez d'autres concurrents (micros doubles ou HSS principalement). Cependant il me manquait une petite Strat SSS et je voulais tester ce géant de la guitare qu'est Fender. Et ben, que dire... j'ai été tout simplement sublimé. La guitare est vraiment très très bien finie. Les frettes sont impeccables, l'accordage (avec le sillet en os) tient parfaitement. On retrouve ce son claquant et pétillant d'une belle strat 60s. Moi qui avais quelques a priori, je suis ravi d'avoir choisi une MIJ. Ayant passé ma commande rapidement, je n'avais pas vu que le manche était vernis. Certains préfèrent quand c'est lisse donc je le précise dans ma review.

Je suis d'accord avec un des commentaires en bas, s'il y avait plus de MIJ distribuées aux US, ça leur ferait bien mal. Bref, n'ayez pas trop de doute, vous en aurez pour votre argent, et encore une fois, la guitare est splendide. :)

This guitar isn’t necessarily cheap, however I can confidently say this Fender MIJ is worth every cent.

It’s absolutely beautiful and the setup out of the factory is perfect! Frets are well finished, intonation, neck, painting and the way it’s put together. I can't spot a single defect or thing to complain about.

Sound and playability wise, it’s a 60s inspired strat so you know what you are getting. I really liked the pickups specifically they have that very distinct Fender sound you’d expect but with a vintage twist.
The vintage frets are something to get used to when bending.

In short: if you are looking for a really high quality strat with vintage specs, this is the one to get. It is on par with a American Vintage II on every aspect for considerably less money. I think fender USA factory would be in trouble if these MIJs were more widely available.
