Worthwhile upgrade for Surf sounds

Bought as an upgrade for the standard SurfyPan in my SurfyBear metal. Shorter decay which sounds truer to the original Fender units from the '60s. Sounds a little less shrill than the standard SurfyPan that was in my particular SurfyBear, allowing me to run the tone control higher. Can also run the dwell and mix controls higher, without the effect becoming overwhelming.

YouTube comparison vids suggest it's still a little short of having the high-end detail of an original Gibbs pan, but for the money I don't believe there's another brand new pan that comes closer to that sound.

Well it's a reverb pan and it goes boing clang when you hit it. Use it as an extension with the compact deluxe surfybear so I have a two reverbs in one pedal. For the price it's like getting a second reverb pedal so great stuff from surfy industries to add this as an option.

Mit dem SpringTank klingt der kleine Surfybear noch großer und wirklich sehr nah nach dem klassischen Fender Reverb Tank. Schöner Drip in bester Surf-Marnier!

Es ist zwar nur eine kleine Randnotiz, aber am offenen SpringTank kann man auch schön die Feder manipulieren (etwa mit etwas Schaumstoff, Büro- oder Wäscheklammern oder ähnlichem), um so auch experimentellere Reverbsounds zu schaffen oder beim Klopfen auf die Federn interessante Splash-Effekte zu erzielen.

Wer auf originale Federhallsounds steht, sollte sich hier mal durchtesten.
