I had the Roland TD 17 before, and uppgraded to V31. It is really a lot better in every way. Many of the kits sounds amazing. The presets are good and usefull. The Cymbals , Snare, Kick and toms are much more real. Way more responsive and much more dynamic. I can can use roland cloud to download really good sounding DW drumkits and more. I can also record the audio of the snare, kick , toms etc separately in to DAW togheter with midi. I can use the V31 software on my mac to control everything there and its lot of possibilities. I dont miss anything. I will soon buy Roland PD-14DSX Digital Snare Pad because the V31 has a digital out so I can use this super snare with my V31. Look forward to that.
