Your Signal. Your Vision. Your Path.
More Than a Contest: An Ecosystem for Emerging Artists
Forget traditional rankings and rigid competitions. In collaboration with our partner, Arturia, Voltage Labs Transmissions is a reimagined support program designed to empower emerging artists on their journey. We’re not searching for “winners” – we’re looking for Featured Voices: artists who stand out through craftsmanship, a clear artistic vision, and the courage to experiment.
Our goal is to provide visibility and resources for new talent across three equally important and independent layers:
Community-Based Support
The community decides through listening how artistic resources are distributed.
Artistic Support:
Experienced mentors select their personal favorites and provide direct feedback.
Editorial Support
Voltage Labs and Arturia curate, feature and award the artists receiving support through gear and equipment by Arturia.

Three Paths of Recognition:
1. Community Signals (Popular Vote) 🗳️
All transmissions that pass our VL quality filter / curation will be published on the official SoundCloud channel. Here, the community response alone determines the distribution of our Artistic Resources:
- EVERY artist who makes it to our Community Signals will get an Arturia Pigments version – thanks to Arturia!
- On top the 10 most listened artists will receive a 100€ Thomann voucher to upgrade their setup
2. Mentor Picks (Artist Feedback) 🎧
Our mentors – experienced artists of the electronic music scene – receive a curated selection of signals. Instead of rankings, they award personal recognition:
- Each mentor selects one or two personal favorites as a Transmission Pick
- You receive individual written feedback
- A dedicated social media post highlighting your work
Here, artistic resonance and prestige matter more than technical placement.
3. Editorial Features (Curated Visibility) 📝
Independent of listens or mentors, the Voltage Labs editorial team selects artists for long-term features. We look at your production approach and the narrative value of your sound.
- Gear: Arturia PolyBrute / Artura AudioFuse 16 audio interface / Arturia AstroLab
- Record of the Week (ROTW) & Studio Features
- Artist Feature / Spotlight across our channels
- Inclusion in the official Voltage Labs Spotify playlist
