Qui aurait cru qu'une trompette dotée d'une si grosse perce et d'un si gros pavillon soit jouable? Et pourtant, elle l'est, sans doute grâce à l'excellente réponse du pavillon. Cette trompette offre un son magnifique, très large et assez sombre, mais elle reste très polyvalente (classique, jazz...). Elle offre un confort de jeux étonnant, une justesse parfaite et un registre très homogène (aigüs faciles, très beaux graves profonds). En plus, la finition est très belle (gravure sur le pavillon). J'ai joué longtemps une X4 puis une X3, la HC1 les a détrônées.
