Good But Heavy

I am using them inside a my Fender Concert Tone FM53S mandolin.
The sound is great, but they are too heavy and the glue is not strong enough to hold them inside the instrument. that is why they are falling all the time and i tried many was and glues to keep them in.
In the end I changed them to the K&K mandolin twin spots that are sound phenomenon.
I tried them also on a normal acoustic western guitar and they are sound ok. I still prefer the K&K ones LR Baggs and even the Duncan ones! I will not bu them again.

bonne qualité sonore, mais ...

Rempli sa fonction avec une bonne qualité de son.
Assez facile à installer, mais ...

les piezo sont tellement lourds et les films de colle tellement légers, que ça ne colle absolument pas.
Conseil : retirer dés le départ la colle fournie, et remplacer par un film 3M de qualité. C'est du temps gagné.

Zweckentfremdet aber gut

Ich habe lange nach dem richtigen Pickup gesucht, um am Kontrabass unter dem Griffbrett den Rockabilly-Slap gut abnehmen zu können. Und was soll ich sagen, hier bin ich fündig geworden.

Mit dem Doppelklebeband hält der Pickup bombenfest unter dem Griffbrett und nimmt dort einen wunderschönen Klicksound ab, was will man mehr.

Da der doppelte Pickup nur unwesentlich teurer als der einzelne ist, gab es gleich die doppelte Packung um immer einen Ersatz im Koffer zu haben. Die Buchse brauche ich nicht, das Kabel war für meinen Zweck eh zu kurz und ich habe alles zusammen mit dem "Klangpickup" direkt verlötet.

Optisch könnte das ganze ein bisschen unauffälliger sein, der Pickup sieht aus wie ein Stetoskop von Onkel Doktor, aber der Sound ist entscheidend und dann wird das nebensächlich.

Buen componente que montado dentro de un instrumento de cuerda acustico ofrece una conectividad electrica de sonido buena y eficaz. La respuesta de sonido bien ecualizada es sorprendente para los sensores con los que están construidos.
