Good for samba instruments as well

We have been using these skins for samba "surdo" instruments, very sturdy even being used against soft felt tip beater mallets.

Can never complain with the remo gear! Needed a new beater head for the bass drum and this boy say in just fine and produced some mighty fine sounds for me! Best in town!

Ok for fluffy beaters

Nice head for soft beaters, but use plastic or wooden ones without SERIOUS protection pads and it won't last a week.
