Excellent, warm and dry.

This is the best bass drum head on the market, and it is slightly warmer than the clear powerstroke 3, it is durable, gives a true sound from the bass drum, and feels thick enough to get a feeling from the pedal.

It doesn't have a ton of additional dampening on the head, so you are able to customise your bass drum sound in other ways that you see fit, whereas some heads will do it all for you, leaving you with no say in the matter.

This is best starting point, best head if you session and play more than one genre.

I mounted it on my vintage kick, well I must say it has become huge!
Even in the studio it makes the difference, a unique depth and timbre!
I recommend it!
