Sehr gute Cajon

Ich habe direkt vor Ort bei Thomann nach einer Cajon gesucht, die eine schnelle Snareansprache hat, dabei aber nicht zu stark im Bass mitspielt.
Anfangs habe ich einige Modelle von Schlagwerk angetestet, welche allerdings alle sofort wieder ins Regal geräumt worden nachdem ich das Pepote getestet habe. Es ist erstaunlich, wie schnell die Snare reagiert. Schon bei leichtem Tippen mit den Fingern (Perfekt, um bei kleinen Konzerten eingesetzt zu werden). Aber auch beim stärkeren und schnelleren Spielen der Snare kommt sie gut rüber (klarer und knackiger Sound). Dämpfen kann man die Snare nicht. Ist aber auch nicht nötig, da sie wie schon erwähnt schnell zu hören ist.

Die Cajon hat einen warmen Bass mit einer kleinen Besonderheit. Duch das Herrausdrehen der vier Schrauben im Bassbereich lässt sich dieser in seiner Tiefe verändern.

Optisch ist das Cajon ein echter Hingucker. Nicht nur der starke Kontrast zwischen dem Birkenholzkorpus und der schwarzen Schlagfläche (welche an sich schon echt gut aussieht), sondern auch die abgerundeten Ecken und Daumenmulden tragen dazu bei.
Auch die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr gut.

Am Ende kann ich nur sagen, dass die Cajon mich wirklich überzeugt hat und viele andere und teurere Modelle in den Schatten stellt.
Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.
