Bundle is a great deal

One of the problems with the Kemper is that the factory-supplied sounds are not very good. With this bundle, you get a really convenient USB pendrive that you could wear round your neck, with lots of very usable amp patches on it. It would cost a lot more to buy these sounds separately, so I really recommend this bundle

Von den mitgelieferten Profiles (Stand FW-Version 2.0) klingen einige ziemlich geil, einige gefallen mir nicht. Da kann der KPA aber nichts dafür - ein Mesa Rectifier z.b. gefällt mir eben nicht und wird mir auch in einem Modeller/Profiler nie gefallen - ist eben Geschmackssache. Mein Hauptprofile ist das kostenlose "JCM800" von theampfactory geworden - klingt einfach tierisch gut. Mit der Klangreglung bekomme ich von Clean bis Highgain wirklich ALLES hin. Ich weiß auch nicht ob der Amp so dynamisch ist oder ob das im KPA hinterher eingestellt wurde aber das Teil ist einfach so megadynamisch - das ist schon fast unglaublich und sehr beindruckend.

Zu den Effekten:
Ich bin kein Effektfreak. Ich brauch ein gutes Delay, einen Boost vorm Amp und vielleicht noch einen Chorus. Dann bin ich glücklich.
Qualitativ sind die Effekte des KPAs auf einem hohen Level, man ist mit den 8 Effektslots aber natürlich eingeschränkter als beispielsweise beim Axe-FX2. Mich persönlich stört das nicht, weil ich ohnehin nie mehr als 3-4 Effekte nutze.
Das Volumepedal ist (anders als bei den POD HD z.B.) übrigens immer vorhanden und muss nicht extra in einem Slot "eingesetzt" werden.
Die Effekte die ich nutze klingen sehr gut. Man kann einen richtig schön dezent klingenden Vintagechorus einstellen. Das Delay funzt 1a - mit dem Bandwith Regler kann man auch analoge Delays super simulieren. Der Hall klingt in meinen Ohren zimelich gut, ich hab ihn aber immer nur extrem dezent im Einsatz (maximal 10% im Mix) - ich glaub ich würde ohnehin keinen Unterschied zwischen einem guten und einem schlechten Hall merken.
Was mir wirklich hervorragend gut gefällt sind die Zerrpedale. Die klingen wirklich super, auf jeden Fall besser als die aller anderen Modeller die ich bisher getestet habe. Außerdem sind sie wirklich einfach einzustellen.
Prinzipiell würde ich die Effektqualität durchaus mit einem Axe-FX vergleichen, aber wie gesagt - das kann jemand der viel mit Effekten arbeitet sicherlich besser beurteilen!

Fazit nach mehr als 1,5 Jahren KPA Nutzung:

Genial, mehr braucht man dazu denke ich nicht sagen! Ich konnte auch ausführlich mit dem Axe2 vergleichen. Für mich ist der Kemper besser geeignet. Ich finde ihn klanglich eine Stufe besser als das Axe2 bzw. die Aussage ist eigentlich Schwachsinn - das Ding klingt so gut, wie gut man das Profile eben hinbekommt. Vor allem aber finde ich es super - dass man nicht ewig herumtweaken muss, um einen super Sound zu bekommen. Ich lande zwar immernoch ab und zu zurück beim Amp, stelle dann aber recht schnell fest, dass die Ampzeiten eigentlich vorbei sind :D
