Excellent dampening without killing the tone

I bought the 4-ring pack, but mainly for the 14" to use on my rather too ringy brass snare. Works perfectly, cutting enough overtone without deadening the sound, and much easier to use than fiddling around with moongels or similar muffling techniques.
I like that they are only 1" wide, as I've found wider ones can over-deaden the sound, especially in a live situation.
Quality seems great - thick enough to stand some handling.
I would also use these on toms with single ply heads.

this set comes with a 8inch ring included, this is more ideal for the drumer who has an 8 inch tom, quality is it lays on tom head and doesnt hop around, unless yu are hitting very very hard, i mean very hard.
