Not much help on coated heads

Wanted to try something new and discreet to tame the overtones. They work wonders on clear heads but as most of my toms are coated, they do not stick at all. Even keeping the pressure on for a minute or so to ensure the glue gets in there, they do not stick to Coated Emperors. Could be that they stick to Evans coated heads? Who knows...

Bessere Alternative zum Klassiker

Jede*r kennt sie, aber so richtig mag sie niemand: diese blauen Gelpads, die immer irgendwie komisch kleben, Staub anziehen und schnell unansehnlich aussehen.

Evans hat hier mit den EQ Pods ganze Arbeit geleistet. Sie kleben mit der Unterseite gut am Schlagfell, sind oben aber deutlich weniger klebrig und bleiben daher hoffentlich auch länger schick. Außerdem sind sie fester als "die anderen", lassen sich daher wie ich finde leichter positionieren.

Die Minis lassen sich gut dosieren und dadurch kann man die Dämpfung sehr fein an die Wünsche anpassen.

Außerdem kommen die Pods in einer schicken Metalldose, die sie sicher beherbergen.

Wenn Evans jetzt noch mehr Farben anbieten würde, das wäre ein Traum!
