First thing: they are in tune.
Second thing: they are loud. If you don't push them hard enough, they don't make any sound; and when you do push hard, it's loud.
The sound is very bright - as one would expect from bells - and they will give you a headache if your kids go crazy on them.
There lies the potential problem: as an instrument for grown ups to use, they will soon frustrate you. One octave, only a C major scale, you will want more (in range and chromatisms). As a toy for kids, again, they are loud.
But if you are ok with it, they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

These are not cheap anywhere and the fact that I could find them at Thomann made me very happy. But the sound and construction has held up over time to some very young and careless children. They are sturdy and sound great. The kids love the colours.

Ho acquistato queste colorate campanelle per la mia attività "Gioco, Suono, Imparo" che svolgo all'interno della Scuola di musica a Foligno con bambini da 4 a 6 anni. Queste campanelle per loro colori vivaci e facilità con la quale bambini le possono suonare sono state accolte subito con grande entusiasmo. Come insegnante le trovo molto utili nel primo approccio con le note musicali abbinati a determinati colori. Aiutano nella lettura musicale ed essendo rotondi a volte le posso utilizzare come le note da inserire sul pentagramma. Si prestano in modo meraviglioso. I bambini le adorano e giocando imparano le note della scala Do in modo piacevole e senza fatica. Sono sempre alla ricerca delle novità che possano catturare attenzione dei bambini e questo acquisto pienamente mi ha soddisfatto. Da aggiungere qualità e prezzo ottimo!!!
