I've played drums for a few years back and forth, but it was not until recently that I started taking really good care of my cymbals. I got advised by the "drum expert" at my local music store, who said that "it's not really necessary to buy this kind of product, use ketchup instead, it's an old drummer trick which has always worked".
As you can imagine I was a bit shocked, so I looked it up on youtube and found out that ketchup is probably the last thing you should use on your cymbals.. Anyway, bought the Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish instead and found an instruction video on youtube from Zildjian on how to use it, and the result was great!
Strongly recommend it for those of you who want to take good care of your cymbals.
