Great introductory Bowl for the price! Good looking at that!

For the price, hard to beat! Really surprised by the good quality.

I just have to say, to anyone thinking about ordering a singing bowl, that you really shouldn't expect any bowl to at the exact tuning of the sample given at the product page. But DON'T let this discourage you, like the guy of the review of the "Thomann Tibetan Zen Singing Bowl 2300g":
"But when delivered The sound wasn't nearly as low! Not the beautiful 76Hz from the sample, but a bit less than 100Hz! Quite a difference! On top of that, it has more dominant (high) overtones, making it sound more ringing like a bell, instead of the pure hummm from the sample"

This poor guy actually sent his Bowl back. So, here's a tip: ADD WATER to the bowl! -It lowers the pitch, and rids it of some of those harmonics, overtones, making for a smoother sound as well. You can tune it this way, to some extent.

Kudos to Thomann for publishing all reviews, including negative ones, and for their fantastic customer service! In this area, they're hard to beat. Long time customer speaking, and I've never had a problem that they didn't solve swiftly and satisfyingly.

Både fin som prydnad och kul att spela med men det tar lite tid att lära sig men när det väl sitter där så är man fast : ) . Den här va lite väll liten men helt ok med fina detaljerkommer med all säkerhet köpa hela serien för det är riktigt snygga tillsammans.

Great Bowl!

The sound is exactly the same of the sample you can ear in the shop.
well packaged, i've purchased also the 1kg and the 2kg of the same line, and the 3 bowls togheder are the perfect mix.

I've started now with the tibetan bowls and this is really worth his money, all of them, even the 2kg bowl is really good. the 500g is harder to sing but you just need a little bit of practice.

I definitely recommend this bowl and his parents of 1kg and 2kg because they sounds really great. This bowl are different from the one that you can hit.

you can still hit this bowls but they are not the same of the gold bowls like the peter hess ones, i mean, if you hit this bowls the sound will stick for 10-20 seconds, the golden bowls like the zen ones or peter hess ones, you can hit that and probably will stick the sound for 1 minute or 2.

so this bowls are more oriented to the singing part (when you are constantly rotating your hand with the wood

really great sound, fast shipping and well packaged!

I definitely would buy more singing bowls in the future!
