C and D whistles: great value and great quality
I have just taken up whistle, but had skilled whistlers test my C and D whistles for me.
I first heard this whistle at a workshop where and we compared it with a Susato and for the huge price difference it sounded great; and way better than the basic tin whistles of similar price (untunable and more piercing sound).
I bought both the Thomann G and C whistles, as the postage (£7ish UK) was no more for one than two. Delivered in the time promised.
Both are described as one piece, but are actually tunable (moveable head) which is a pleasant surprise. Both have good volume, play well through their range, with mellow tone and easy to get good sound out of it. A plastic whistle is also less prone to temperature related tone changes. It also plays well softly (kind to neighbours when learning/practicing). The plastic cases are basic but adequate and perfectly acceptable for the price.

Soft tones
This product is a delight. Very soft tones with an easy change of octaves. And the material is pleasant to the touch.

I have just started to learn how to play with a whistle, but I really feel that the sound is nice and I got a sheet with it explaining the notes which I find it is great from Thomann to send this sheet.

Great item that exceeds expectations
Expecting a plactic whistle, when this came I thought it was another product.
This has sturdy plastic and precise, crisp openings for best performance out of the box! Tuned precisely like it's a 3x more expensive product, this seems like a bargain.

Thomann Irish C Whistle - Excellent product & superb value for the money
The Thomann Irish Whistles are excellent - we purchased both the 'D' & 'C' whistles and can comment on their sound, playability, quality and looks.
These whistles are an excellent alternative to another brand costing about ten times the price. Many people can barely tell them apart - including seasoned players.
I can recommend these whistles for beginner & intermediate levels of players.

Great For Beginners

Best whistle for the money
I own 10+ Irish whistles, payed from 5 to 100€, and this one is the best of them. It's a well made copy of Susato whistle which is 15 times more expensive
