I replaced steel tubular stands with these. The sound quality improvement is stunning. I know that I sound like, pardon my language, an audiophile. I'm not one, I swear. I am a music lover.

The old ones were resonating like crazy with certain notes. In general empty steel tubes make terrible monitor stands. At minimum, they should be one piece tube cut to desired length and filled with something, e.g. high density polyurethane foam. But I am not aware of any producer that does this. So just get a pair these.

Also, they look quite stylish.

Just don't expect them to absorb much bass. You'd need much more foam volume (m³) for this.

PS. @Thoman, I wish there were some choice of sizes. Choice of all black colour would be nice, too.

Gutes Gesamtpaket aber...

Ich benutzte die Ständer für meine 10kg schweren 7" Studio Monitore .
Der Monitor Stand bietet auf jeden Fall einen soliden Halt und kann meines Erachtens auch wesentlich mehr aushalten (bis 30 Kg sind realistisch) - dafür müssen natürlich die Maße der Studio Monitore passen.

Die Verarbeitung war bei meinen Exemplaren ausgezeichnet, daher wirken die Ständer auch hochwertig.

Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden...mit einer Ausnahme.

Die versprochene bzw. angegebene Absorption von tiefen Frequenzen entspricht nicht ganz der Realität. Grundsätzlich erfüllt der Monitor Stand die Isolationsfunktion mit Hinsicht auf die Vibration der Lautsprecher gut, jedoch nicht für direkte Reflexionen.
Auch relativ dicker Schaumstoff kann keine tiefen Frequenzen absorbieren.

Wer eine wirklich effektive Absorption von tiefen Frequenzen möchte, sollte eher massive Zylinder förmliche Bass Trap als Studio Monitor Stand nutzen, da diese meistens mit richtiger Steinwolle gefüllt sind - und daher für einen mehr oder weniger gleichen Preis deutlich mehr Wirkung zeigen.

Ich hätte mir persönlich eine - bei Absorbern übliche - Graphik gewünscht, auf der einzusehen ist, welche bestimmten Frequenzbereiche wie absorbiert werden, also Angaben zu Absorptionskoeffizienten usw.

Nonostante all’arrivo c’è un po’ di delusione perché dalla foto la parte nera sembra di legno ed invece è di foam…sono davvero bellissimi! Ho apprezzato il fatto che abbiano la doppia funzionalità di stand e di bass trap. Colore perfettamente abbinato alle mie Yamaha white. Non 5 stelle solo perché rispetto agli stand classici (e ovviamente meno qualitativi), non c’è possibilità di tarare l’altezza, cosa che in un home studio può essere decisiva! Nel complesso voto 8
