I needed power strip for the 19" rack and had to spent some time to find the right one with plug sockets suitable for my country standard (Slovakia). With the help of close up views of strips on product pages I choose this Power 8 S French – happily the right one.
The angle of sockets isn't ideal – while it doesn't matter when you connect flat two-peg plugs without grounding or grounded straight plugs, with angled grounded plugs the cable is directed sideways from the strip and need some space to be bend. So be careful with orientation of sockets when mounting the strip into the rack and better count with some spare height to next box in the rack if you'll need to connect angled plug of some piece of your equipment.

Once again, Thomann offers an affordable product with no frills that can compete with top-name brands. Coming from US voltage, I obviously have been dealing with electrical issues since my move to Europe. This power block solved all my problems -well made, robust & can handle close to 3800V of AC. You can get a furman for 4 times as much, or you can go with this little beast that, in my opinion, is just as good if not better. Block is standard 19 inches for easy rack mounting, solid metal housing, and plug cable length is very generous. My favorite feature is the locking system for all plug inputs; so even if you have those big obnoxious AC adapters, it's sure to lock in place -whatever the angle. Very happy with this purchase & great service from Thomann as usual!
