Does the job well with a somewhat pleasing sound
I spent a lot of time looking for a metronome that was both decently compact to fit in a bag, and had a sound that was pleasing (as far as pleasing goes with a metronome).
This has three sounds to choose from that are all separate metronome "profiles" with their own settings that are remembered, which makes it really easy to switch between different settings as long as you're fine with the sound changing.
Another requirement was a loud metronome that would work for pipe organ. This one gets loud enough for my requirements.
Its weak point is the headphone output. It gets distorted when turning the volume up past a quarter to a third. I don't know if that's the way it's supposed to be or if mine is faulty. It sounds really bad and reminds more of the electronic click sound on cheap and small metronomes with piezo electric elements.
Build quality... I wouldn't want to drop it on the floor. It doesn't feel super solid, but it doesn't feel cheap either. It's OK, not great.
All in all I'm happy with it.
