surprisingly good guitar

The reason to why I bought this shorter scale guitar is to make it easier for me to play faster on parts in songs which uses stretches and it works with my 17.5cm small hands ;)
I was in the beginning a little sceptic to buy this guitar. Some reviews on second batch (late 2017) on the white version of this guitar said that it had intonation instabilities and the need to tune the guitar very often which I also found true when testing the second batch of the guitar in a store.
However I took the chanse and ordered this blue version which they started making 2019 after seeing good reviews again and I counldn't be more happy. The neck feels super prenium. I can't tell a difference between the quality on this one and a more expensive guitar, it's that good. No nicks or dings, super nice color that are even looking better in real life, the backside of the neck is really beautiful with the visible grains and the fretboard colour are a little darker than Rosewood which matches with the finnish really well.
The sound of the pickups are decent. The only con is that the frets feels like sandpaper but that's easily fixable by polishing the frets. You can do it yourself or take it to a guitar store and ask them to do it for you.
I think it's pretty safe now to buy either this guitar or the white version because the problem on the second batch seems to be solved.

Awesome for the price!

I bought this little Ibanez as my son's first electric guitar, it's awesome for the price, he loves it and I love it too.
It's perfect for a young beginner due to the size, but it's very funny to play it even for an adult.
It is a real guitar, not a toy as many other "small" guitars you can find for a slightly lower price. It is worth paying a little more because it will certainly be enjoyable for a longer time.
It's beautiful to see and well done, I'm very happy with the purchase!

Second Ibanez guitar, this one is small and extremely fun to noodle around with. Tuning stability is an issue though, but that's to be expected with short scale.
The rest of the guitar is quite good for the price.

J'ai acheté cette PGMM21 Paul Gilbert MGN pour mon fils de 7 ans, bientôt 8. D'abord pas choix esthétique, mais aussi en espérant choisir un 3/4 électrique qui soit un vrai instrument de musique.
Dès réception de celle-ci ( livraison nickel ), je n'ai pu m'empêcher de l’essayer direct, et ce pendant une heure d'affiler finalement !
D'abord, elle a un look sympa, malgré quelques petites finitions ici et là qui ne sont pas au top, mais l'ensemble est plutôt correct. Puis un petit temps d’adaptation à ce petit manche, et c'est parti : Son clair, sans effet, j’essaie les cinq positions de micros, pas de craquement au changement de position, ça a l'air solide, les sons varient pas mal, j'ai déjà 3 positions que j'aime bien ! Le seul potentiomètre de réglages et qui à l'air solide également et celui du volume, pas très linéaire, mais je m'adapte rapidement.
Puis, j'essaie les sons clairs avec effets, compression delay, reverb, planger phaser, bref, c'est plutôt sympa. Il ne faut pas trop attaquer la grosse Mi pour rester juste ( ce qui se rattrape peut être avec un réglage, ou d'autres cordes que celles d'origine).
Puis essaie distro : le crunch sonne bien, puis la grosse disto, et ben franchement, ça fonctionne plutôt très bien !! Je me suis franchement bien amusé, notamment, avec la possibilité de faire des bend à 2.5 tons trop facilement, c'est amusant et propre.
La gratte aurait besoin d'un petit réglage, je pense faire ça bientôt.
Mon fils l'a trouvé " trop belle", et la guitare correspond bien à sa taille.
Je pense que le rapport qualité pris est bien là.
