Hyped and useless

I am so disapointed at this guitar and I can´t understand the hype about it.
It is totally useless. Why? Because it does not stay in tune, and a guitar that does not stay in tune i USELESS! This is the second one after Thomann replaced the first one for tuning issues. Both guitars have the same ptroblem. If you bend the B or G-string, the guitar goes out of tune. If you use the whammybar, the guitar goes back in tune. But as a player you don´t use the whammybar everytime efter bending a string. And thus, the guitar i useless. Yes, it can probably be fixed if you have the intrest and a few hours to throw in. But I don´t. When I buy a brand new product, I expect it to work right out of the box. The craftmanship of the nut was so poorly executed that I wondered if the nut was cut with a hacksaw.
The frets are as rough as a 2x4 found at a construction site and needs to be finished before playing. A job that should have been done at the factory.

I don´t care if the guitar is "only" 345 euros. That is no excuse for poor cuality when you name your product "Pro Series". There is nothing "Pro" about this guitar.
I will never, ever by or recomend anyone else to buy a guitar from Harley Benton ever again. I dont have the urge or energy to have another duell with Thomann customer service so I just sell the damn thing on our local E-bay. Cause just by looking at it, I lose my temper.

Appalling quality control

I've had this guitar for several months and it's fundamentally a great guitar. It looks better in real life than in the photos and for the price has a very solid feel and is very versatile.

When I originally received it and opened the box it looked great. However, on close inspection there were a few issues:-
1)The action was very high.
2) the bridge pickup was loose and moved around easily.
3) the stainless frets were pitted and very noisy when bending notes.

I was tempted to send it back, but I really liked the looks and feel of it, and i'd intended to fit lighter strings so hopefully could sort the issues at the same time.
The pickup just needed the springs which sit behind it stretching a little.
I polished the frets with some very fine wet and dry, but need to do a lot more as they're still far from perfect.
I also lowered the saddles and the bridge. There's not much room under the bridge so can only dive with the tremolo.
Unfortunately, with the bridge lowered it was obvious that the nut was much too high too...notes on the first couple of frets were sharp. To correct this I had to lower the nut.

With all that done the guitar now plays quite nicely. The pick-ups are nothing like the more expensive ones in my other guitars, but it's great to use for practise and as a backup for gigs.

Incredible guitar

Comfortable and responsive, pleasant timbre, excellent attack, fingers easily fly over the neck. Components and materials are of high quality, assembly and painting are excellent. I am overwhelmed with the desire to play this "cuttlefish" from only one species.

Really nice guitar, love it. It appears to be a bit bluer in real life, but overall no flaws whatsoever.
